Ingredients
Wheat flour 2 kg, linseed 1 kg, mustard oil 1 liter, jaggery (sugar) 1.5 kg, almonds as per taste, peanuts as per taste, other dry fruits as per taste
How to make
First, roast the wheat flour in an open-mouthed vessel on low heat and stir it continuously until its color does not change. Then remove it in a vessel.
After that, keep the linseed on the same low heat and keep stirring it continuously with the help of a spoon. When its color starts to change a little, understand that the linseed has been roasted and take it out in a separate vessel. And grind it with the help of a grinder.
Now keep the mustard oil on the stove and wait for it to heat up. Since mustard oil is organic and is thicker than other oils, mix a little jaggery in the kneaded dough and take out one or two pakodas like pakodas so that this oil becomes usable. Ordinary pakodas can also be fried in it. After that, remove the mustard oil from the stove i.e. the fire.
Now pour 2 liters of water in an open-mouthed vessel, place it on the stove, and add jaggery to it. Let it cook until it thickens. During this time, keep stirring it from time to time. When the syrup is ready, remove it from the stove.
Add all the ingredients, including roasted flour, mustard oil, roasted linseed, and dry fruits, to this hot syrup mix with a spoon and let it cool down properly.
The mixture for linseed ladoos is ready. Now shape it into round patties with your hands.
Linseed patties or ladoos are now ready to eat, make them for your family and gift them to your friends. These patties do not spoil even for 6 months at room temperature.
